Why would I want an on-site blade survey?
The purpose of an on-site blade survey, is to better understand how your business operates and how Fernite can help.
Our tried and tested approach is to meet face-to-face, to discuss any existing cutting issues, potential blade developments or how we can extend the life of your current blades.
Discussion points
It may be that you have a manufacturing or process issue, or you’re interested to understand whether or not Fernite can offer a better alternative to your existing set-up.
We can put in place a reliable supply solution, offering an off-the-shelf service, giving you the confidence of knowing that your scheduled parts will arrive on time and we’re only a phone call away.
Possible recommendations
Our recommendations can involve:
- A change in a bevel angle
- An upgrade of the blade material being used e.g. carbon steel to stainless steel
- Or even a complete blade redesign
- Upgrading to a tough tipped blade
