Fernite of Sheffield Ltd are proud to have been certified as meeting the requirements of the updated ISO9001:2015 standard.
IS09001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management, and to achieve certification, companies must demonstrate that they have quality management systems in place which ensure products and service meet consistent high standards.
The 2015 update provides greater focus on leadership, risk-based decision making and emerging technologies.
The independent assessment at Fernite’s Sheffield factory was carried out by SGS Ltd in August 2018.
Fernite of Sheffield Ltd’s Managing Director James Kitching said,

Fernite of Sheffield Ltd is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO9001:2015 in the following:
- Steel Stockists (including steel and brass shimstock).
- Manufacture of machine knives, doctor blades, granulator blades, shims, slideways, feeler gauges.
- Processing of steel coil.
- Shearing, slitting, laser cutting, machining , heat treatment.
- Grinding of customer supplied product.
